Migration is becoming a hot issue for the EU again. Thousands of migrants from North Africa land on Lampedusa, while Poland and Hungary, the EU’s most migration-hawkish countries, appear to have operated fraudulent visa schemes to bring hundreds of thousands of non-EU workers from Asia and the Middle East into the bloc.
